The following park closures allow our crews to perform their maintenance schedules in the quickest, most efficient way possible: 

* Weston Park is closed every Monday *
* Gibbel Park is closed every Tuesday *

Parks Crew

The Parks Department

The Parks Department is responsible for all aspects of maintenance for 9 City Parks including Gibbel, Mary Henley, Simpson, Cawston Community, Weston, Dave Oltman, Spencer, Brubaker, and Griffith Way Community Park. Crews perform mowing, edging, weeding, trash clean up, playground equipment inspection, irrigation repairs, and administer fertilization and aeration schedules for the turf. Our goal is to provide safe, clean, beautiful, and accessible parks and facilities. Services shall be provided to enrich the quality of life for the local community and to provide economic value through parks and facilities, which create tourism and encourage long-term community stability and growth.

We are committed to making our City parks and landscape clean and attractive places for all to enjoy.
