COVID-19 Coronavirus
The City of Hemet is monitoring the status of COVID-19 and is implementing the necessary measures to ensure the safety of staff and the community. We are working closely with our partner agencies to ensure that the public is well informed and continues to have access to public services. View helpful information below.
While City offices have fully reopened to in-person service, Hemet residents may continue to utilize the City's online and telephonic services to conduct their business, and can visit the offices between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm, Monday through Thursday. You may call 951-765-2301 for any questions, and our staff will gladly assist you. Staff is available Monday - Thursday, 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
There are several resources for businesses that have been significantly impacted by COVID-19. Riverside County Small Business Assistance & Community Services has staff that you can work with to access what you need. Call them at 951-955-0493.

In addition, the state now has a rental assistance program in place to pay landlords the rent due during that period and beyond for tenants who qualify for the assistance.
