[ARCHIVED] National Rx Take-Back Initiative Scheduled

National Take Back

The Hemet Police Department, in cooperation with the Hemet office of Home Instead Senior Care, and the Drug Enforcement Agency, has scheduled National Take-Back to help dispose of expired or no longer used medications on Saturday, September 29th from 10 AM to 2 PM.

The event will be held at the Home Instead Senior Care office at 414 S. Palm Avenue in Hemet.

Community members can simply drive up to the location where Hemet Police Department, DEA, and Home Instead staff members will collect and place the medications into a locked container. There are no questions asked. Due to safety concerns, NO SHARPS will be accepted. After the event, the medications collected will be properly disposed by DEA staff.
