The Hemet branch of Chase Bank , located on the corner of Florida Avenue and Cawston Avenue, was robbed on August 3rd at about 2:41pm by a Black or Hispanic Male Adult wearing a black hat and black pants. Immediately following the robbery, Hemet Police received a 911 call advising the bank had been robbed. Officers were on-scene within seconds of the call, but the suspect had already fled. A check of the area by valley law enforcement officials, including a K-9 unit, met with negative results. Hemet Police Crime Scene Investigators and Detectives are currently processing the evidence left at the scene and following up on witness statements.
