On 03/31/13 at about 10:16pm, the Hemet Police Dispatch Center received a call of a burglary that had occurred earlier in the evening in the 200 block of Cavendish Drive, Hemet. The victim advised that he reviewed his video surveillance system and recognized the suspects as a couple of his neighbors. He also stated that a firearm and camera equipment was stolen.
As officers arrived, they saw a male, matching the description of one of the suspect neighbors, riding away from the area on a bicycle. The suspect was detained and was identified as Daniel Deluna. A search of Deluna's residence resulted in the detention of Zachariah Doll. Doll was ID'ed as the second suspect of the burglary and was also on the video. The search resulted in the recovery of numerous stolen items. These items were returned to the victim.
