[ARCHIVED] Attempted Burglary and Gun Lands Four in Jail

Hemet PD Pine White Road Burglary

On 12/23/12 at about 8:29 AM, Hemet Police Officers responded to an attempted burglary in the 4500 block of Pine White Road. The resident heard the door bell ring and looked outside to see a black male running away from the front door.

A couple of minutes later, the same subject came back, rang the door bell several times again, and then attempted to kick in the door. After failing to gain entry, the suspect and his cohorts then went into the backyard of the residence in an attempt to burglarize the residence through the rear slider. The suspects were scared off by one the residents when he opened the window blinds.

The victims provided suspect descriptions and Hemet police officers flooded the area. While in the area, Officer Bryan Anderson saw four subjects matching the description of the suspects. The suspects were arrested and searched. During the search, one of them had a loaded .25 caliber handgun.

The following were arrested and charged:

Andrew Maurice White- 20 years old of Hemet
Attempted Burglary and Conspiracy

Martez Decarlos White- 19 years old of Hemet
Attempted Burglary and Conspiracy

Akeem Isaiha Gilmore- 18 years old of Hemet
Attempted Burglary and Conspiracy

17 year old Juvenile of Hemet
Attempted Burglary, Conspiracy, Possession of Loaded Handgun
