Probation checks lead to arrests.
On Monday, November 19th, the City of Hemet Police Department coordinated a special detail with The Riverside County Probation Department and the Post Release Accountability and Corrections Team (PACT). The detail included 38 probation compliance checks which led to 4 felony arrests, 5 misdemeanor arrests, and 2 out of custody violations of probation.
The felony arrests were:
• Rick Avalos, 32 yr old Hemet resident – Violation of parole
• Angela Pizano, 27 yr old, Iowa resident – Possession of a Controlled Substance, Violation of Probation.
• Tina Sherer, 56 yr. old Hemet resident – Possession of a Controlled Substance, Violation of Probation.
• Funzail Woods, 36 yr. old Hemet resident – Petty Theft, Violation of Probation.
This detail was made possible through the sharing of resources between several Inland Empire cities and the Riverside County Probation Department.
